BOSTON - Massachusetts is often referred to as a “no look” state when it comes to High School football recruiting. Look no further, Devin DeMeritt has everyone refocused.

The Duxbury Dragons and the their #1 running back Devin DeMeritt “DD” have left little to the imagination when it comes to their record setting run.

Having lost nearly all of his Jr. season to a torn ACL in his left knee the record books may never reflect “DD” as Duxbury’s best, but his performance last night certainly makes his namesake part of the conversation. The senior running back had a great game with five TDs for the Dragons (4-0, 2-0 Patriot League Keenan Division).

This is the second time in the 2016 season that he has scored 5 touchdowns. In the first 4 games he has gained a total of 15 touchdowns and has accumulated over 800 all-purpose yards helping the Duxbury Dragons put up 42, 49, 49 and 46 scoreboard points.

“I’m lucky to have coaches who believe in me and the best offensive line in the state, said DeMeritt. During the game it’s hard to see what a great job our O-line does. I’m glad we have film so that they get the recognition they deserve.” Devin added

DeMeritt’s 2016 Accolades already include:

  • ESPN MIAA All-State Team (pre-season pick)
